Over a hundred years ago this beautifully wooded, ten acre site was founded as a Christian church camp called Forest Assembly Grounds.
The centerpiece is a large tabernacle which is now the White Oak Chapel. It is surrounded by family cabins, a dining hall and a two story dormitory. For over 80 years the camp hosted annual evangelistic retreats. In 1986, Forest Assembly Grounds was renamed to Camp Forest as a non-profit organization. The board of directors was formed and facilities were opened to the public for special use events.
The mission of Camp Forest is to preserve its rich historical value and honor its strong religious heritage. We are pleased to be able to do this by providing a quaint, quiet setting for a bride and groom to take the first steps in their life together.
Camp F0rest holds a few fundraisers every year to allow us to maintain and upgrade this beautiful setting. Please see our events page for more information.
